Animes are now a worldwide phenomenon, reaching far beyond Japan and influencing Western media in new and unexpected ways. Videogames are no exception to this, of course! Minecraft players have the freedom to customize their worlds as they please with texture packs and mods. I'm compiling some awesome anime Minecraft texture packs so you can tweak your world like your favorite series.

6 Awesome Anime Minecraft Texture Packs for an Epic Experience Overhaul

1. Rhines' Genshin Impact CITS

Genshin Impact has taken the mobile gaming industry by storm, so why not have some of their iconic items in Minecraft? Rhine's Genshin Impact CITS works with Optifine to bring iconic items to your world.

For example, visions are available as wearable and non-wearable, depending on whether you use a Carved Pumpkin or Glass Block, respectively. Or, if you rename a Carved Pumpkin, you can obtain up to 5 different headsets that will look stunning on your character!

2. Demon Slayer

If one of your favorite animes is Demon Slayer, you're in luck! While it's only available for Minecraft 1.16, I think this anime Minecraft texture pack fits the criteria. The following entry features some Demon Slayer-related items and mob reskin, which don't interfere too much with the game's vanilla aesthetic.

You can easily combine this pack with other resource packs, so I hope fans rejoice with all the references you may find here. Similarly, I recommend using this resource pack combined with Flame Breathing Particles for extra immersion!

3. Massive Outlines

Anime tends to have a distinct look that stands out from Western media. So if you want a similar effect for your Minecraft world, why not try Massive Outlines? The good news is that you won't need Optifine to have Massive Outlines, but you must also know that it's only available for versions 1.14 up to 1.17.

Nevertheless, I'd still say you should give it a go. After all, old-school Minecraft has a unique charm that's hard to forget if you're a long-time player!

4. Anime Glass Texture

The following resource pack may seem funny at first. Still, if you'd love to have some of your favorite female characters in Minecraft to admire, you can use Anime Glass Texture for that. Don't forget that each Glass Block color has a distinct character associated, so try to craft them all!

The author also has anime bed overlays and wool with the same concept. If you'd like to continue with the same gimmick, I suggest you check out their profile on Planet Minecraft.

5. Puella Magi Madoka Magica Custom GUI Pack

If you've seen this anime, you know why it has made such a massive dent in the community. Here we have a GUI pack using art from the show as a background for all UIs in Minecraft. It's a straightforward anime Minecraft texture pack that fans will appreciate.

Listar also has a bunch of custom GUI packs for other animes and mangas, so if you're looking to include Pokémon or Haikyuu!! references in your game, this is your chance!

6. Akatsuki Hidan + Madara Uchiha Armor Set

Suppose you're looking for an iconic anime, even for people who don't watch anime. In that case, Naruto should be a perfect candidate for that. For this entry, I've included two separate texture packs from the same author since they both look fantastic, and I honestly couldn't decide!

So choose between Madara Uchiha or Akatsuki Hidan's armor set for the Diamond armor, alongside their sword counterpart. Alternatively, you can download the Obito Uchiha armor set texture pack for the Netherite armor.

The Takeaway

You may crave more anime-related content for Minecraft, and I don't blame you. There are so many custom skins, worlds, and servers dedicated to this media that it can be slightly overwhelming to sift through. However, I'd love to hear your comments on my selection and see if you have any recommendations I accidentally skipped!

Did you find this list helpful? Let me know what texture pack you ended up going with! I’d love to hear from you.
